Originally intended to stop for water at Carnforth south junction but opted not to take on water at Preston instead which did give me the chance to get the odd shot of him at the station. • We end at Leyland as we see Sir Nigel accelerate away from Preston back for Crewe to round off a magnificent 3 days of chasing Sir Nigel Gresley's return to the mainline. • After the members shareholders run Sir Nigel will enter the paint shop at Crewe 5A to reacquire the BR Express Passenger lined blue livery. • It fantastic to see an A4 back on the mainline again after a 2 year absents for now by the time this video was made 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley is the only operational A4 pacific in the world. • Thanks for reading enjoy the film of 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley's return to the mainline after a 7 year absents. • #4498SirNigelGresley #TheSirNigelGresleyLocomotiveTrust #LocomotiveServicesGroup
