The remaining lectures will be added in future, until all 43 lectures have been uploaded. • When Mr. Feil gave this series of lectures, he was an attorney practicing law in Atlanta. He became interested in the early Church Fathers while he and his family were attending a small Anglican Church in the area. The study of the early Church Fathers is known as “patristics”. His research and reading in patristics resulted in his eventual conversion to the Catholic Faith in 2002. • During these lectures, Otto used flip charts to illustrate the content. Handouts were provided to the listeners at each class. These charts and handouts have been uploaded to this channel. • This channel is owned and operated by Feil Media LLC. • Mr. Feil attended Yale College, where he majored in ancient history, graduating in 1973. He obtained his law degree in 1976 from the University of Georgia Law School, where he was Editor in Chief of the Georgia Law Review (Vol. 10). After practicing law in Atlanta for more than 40 years, he retired in 2018, after he suffered a severe stroke. • At SFdS, Mr. Feil also taught koine (New Testament) Greek, both beginning and advanced classes. The advanced classes read the Gospel of John and the Epistle of Ignatius to the Ephesians. • The opinions expressed in these lectures are Mr. Feil’s own personal opinions and not those of SFdS.
