Here I show how to apply Briwax to wood by hand. It's a simple process, and quick, and produces a durable low sheen finish. The more you apply and buff the higher the shine can get. It also works great as a cleaner for other finishes (read the indications on the can/literature and test on an inconspicuous area first). • • Sand and remove all dust • • Apply wax to wood (work in small sections, like 1sq ft at a time) • • Burnish with #0000 steel wool (rub with the grain to avoid scratching - steel wool is still an abrasive) • • Buff with a clean cloth (to get a higher gloss you'll need to apply several coats of wax and buff) • You can repeat the application buff processes as desired. A machine polisher will greatly reduce the manual labor and time to completion of buffing. • If you're going to be handling the piece extensively, exposing it to moisture or high heat then you'll want to go with another finish better suited for those circumstances. • • http://www.designablemakes.com • / designableco • For Purchases, check out https://www.etsy.com/shop/designableco • Check out Briwax: https://briwax.com/ • Video production: Upheval (https://www.upheval.com) • **** • The opinions about the product are mine and are not influenced by the brand or product, I received no compensation from Briwax.
