My friend Dane and I operate a shared cockpit McDonnell Douglas MD-11 on the VATSIM network as FedEx flight 1361 heavy. On our approach into Memphis, we experience a close encounter with another aircraft on a parallel approach which leads to ATC giving us a go-around instruction! The Memphis airport was super busy due to a fly-in event, but ATC did a good job of maintaining order.
