On the ride to the hotel In Istanbul, I started thinking, what kind of deal did UBER get into here because this was just another average yellow cab. What happened here? • So I started digging. • When #Uber first launched in Istanbul in 2014, it faced heavy opposition from the city's traditional taxi industry.
