Revolver raging bull .500 magnum (500sw) • After about 1500 shots with conventional ammunition the frame of a gun burst just at the point of connection between barrel and frame of the gun. • (see video 01:15) • After an unsuccesful complaint and finding that the revolver is no longer produced (they know why) and that repair is not possible, i decided to try, what the gun withstand, if I use stronger ammunition than another mass produced. • When I dismantle the gun, I found that the cylinder of revolver was made of very high quality material. But the frame wasn´t. And that is probably the reason of my problem with cracked frame. When heavy ammunition leave cylinder, it crashes with great force into barrel, that is screwed into the frame of poor quality material that bursts. • In the video, probably due to the machine-translation, there is not clearly visible what happened. • I am sorry if I touched someone by destructing of unusable revolver.
