This yoga practice is designed to balance our root chakra. The root chakra is our first chakra and houses our sense of strength, stability and security. This is the chakra that helps us feel grounded when it's balanced and functioning properly. The root chakra (muladhara chakra) sits at the base of the spine and extends throughout our lower body. • In this practice, we tap into our sense of inner strength to cultivate a sense of groundedness. When the root chakra is not balanced, people tend to feel anxious, stressed, overly worried and even fearful. This can take us down a path of low energy and decreased immune function which leads to a sense of instability. Let's flow together and create a sense of wellbeing as we ground into the earth, into our bodies and into our practice to stabilize the mind with this root chakra yoga flow.
