Are you new to wet felting and would like to learn a simple way of making spikes for your stem (but may be used to embellish anything) and organic looking colourful flowers? This step by step video isn’t sped up in any way, the demonstration is done in real time so you will be able to follow along with me if you so wish. Please feel free to ask me a question by leaving a comment if you need any clarification. Have fun! • During my demonstration flower with stem I used wool batts but you can use roving or tops instead, whatever small amounts of wool you have to hand will be perfect. Here’s a link to a short video where I explain the difference about working with batts versus roving if you are unsure what I am talking about.    • Wool roving V wool batts? What are th...   For some added shine and surface detail I embellished my flower with silky looking bamboo fibre but again, use whatever you have to hand or indeed omit the embellishing fibres altogether. • PS If you would like to create felt to eco print rather than use coloured wool and embellishing fibres I recommend natural un-dyed merino and cellulose embellishments (not silk). • My aim is to cultivate a sustainable, nature focused practice helping creatives and slow living enthusiasts feel connected, understood and supported. Since 2029 I've had multiple wet felting and eco printing workshop success stories in Ireland, North America, Australia and mainland Europe. • If you’re interested in staying in touch for regular free tips, tutorials and to get early notification when new paid learning opportunities open for registration, why not join my my newsletter mailing list? • Newsletter https://members.nicolabrown.ie/newsle... • Eco Printing in the Dirty Pot eBook https://nicolabrown.ie/shop/new-produ... • Website https://nicolabrown.ie/ • Main textile related Instagram account   / nicolabrownclasheen   • New Instagram account about the broader aspects of developing a sustainable textile practice and life in rural Ireland •   / a_rustic_irish_life   account • For lively discussion and the opportunity to have your say in future Q A sessions join my public 'Nicola Brown - Eco Printing and Felting' group on Facebook   / nicolabrown   • DISCLAIMER - None of my videos are sponsored, all opinions and suggestions for studio supplies or equipment are my own.
