Don Immel (Head of Brass) and Joel Brennan (Lecturer in Brass) have been collaborating with local artists to bring relevant contemporary classical music to students and audiences in Alexandra, Euroa, Shepparton and Healesville. Secondary school students were highly engaged through a series of workshops delivered by MCM teaching staff and new works by Australian composers have also been commissioned. • This project is part of the VCA MCM Regional Training Engagement program, funded by the State Government through Arts Victoria and delivered in partnership with Regional Arts Victoria. http://vca-mcm.unimelb.edu.au
