This video shows a brief run-down on the ThermoActive Shoulder Support. How to find the correct size, how to put it on correctly, and what the best uses are. • • The ThermoActive Shoulder Support can be used for either the left or right shoulder. The easy-to-apply body strap allows the user to easily move and walk while wearing the support during treatment. The circumferential compression secures the gel pack to the entire shoulder area -- which typically is very difficult to fit with just a wrap. • • Applications: Rotator cuff injuries, bursitis, tendonitis, Post-surgery recovery, strains and swelling, post-exercise recovery, before and after throwing routines. • • You can see more ThermoActive products here: • http://www.optomo.com.au/search/?quer... • • Video Transcription: • • This is Hilary. Now, today Hilary looks a little bit like an American football player, but that's because she's wearing the great new ThermoActive Shoulder Support. What is it? Well, if you've ever done a basic first aid course, you would know if you've injured yourself, you need to provide RICE - rest, ice, compression, and elevation. What the ThermoActive Support does is provides the ice and the compression. • • In Hilary's hand, you can see a little air pump. Now, combined with the ice pack, the compression from the air pump provides half of RICE. It's the ice and the compression. So, the more Hilary pumps up that little hand pump, the more the air inside the bladder inside the ThermoActive fills up and compresses the injured shoulder. Now, inside the ThermoActive Support is a gel pack. You simply need to throw that in the freezer for an hour and then Velcro it back up to the support and you're away. It's really easy to do up. • • It's got nice, soft neoprene which is easily adjustable with big Velcro pads. There it is. That is the ThermoActive Shoulder Support. To get the air out, all you need to do is to push the button on the bottom of the pump and then the air escapes. It's pretty easy, it's really effective, and it's in stock and ready to ship.
