Palpatine is often described as the most powerful Sith Lord to ever exist. Afterall, Palpatine cheated death and was a master of many extremely powerful abilities. Now while he is certainly the most powerful of the Darth Bane lineage of Sith Lords, he is not the most powerful Sith of all time. That title goes to Darth Revan’s arch nemesis, the Sith Emperor of the Old Republic era. Going by the names of Tenebrae, Vitiate and Valkorian, he was able to inhabit multiple bodies at once and even used the force to destory an entire planet. His ultimate goal was to consume all life in the galaxy in the hpes of becoming an actual god.
