William Burroughs' Naked Lunch is barely a novel: a series of vignettes and hallucinatory prose poems strung together in seemingly no particular order. This passage, describing Interzone (the setting of many of the book's scenes), entrances with its amalgamation of the mundane, the fantastical, the erotic, and the nightmarish. • Vocals processed using the Roland E-4, and pads from a Volca Bass and Volca FM.
