『HOLE IN ONE』は、49文字から成る不思議な小説を原作とする、アニメーションオムニバス「Pass49e」の収録作品のひとつ。 • 舞台はアメリカ合衆国の都心部――とあるビルの屋上のゴルフ場。冴えないアルバイト・マイクは、傲慢なマフィア・ドナルドのゴルフスイング時にくしゃみをし、ボールは明後日の方向へ。そんなちょっとした不幸が巻き起こす、アクロバティックな喜劇的結末が笑える。 • HOLE IN ONE is one of the featured works in the animation anthology Pass49e, based on a mysterious novel consisting of 49 characters. • The setting is a rooftop golf course in the heart of a city in the United States. Mike, a lackluster part-time worker, sneezes when the arrogant mafia member Donald takes a golf swing, causing the ball to fly in a comically wrong direction.
