Lions often face off against hyenas and other members of their own species. Lions are the dominant big cat in Subsaharan Africa, and often scare away Cheetahs and Leopards when they come into the Lion's territory. • The Eastern lowland gorilla is the largest type of gorilla. They typically in central Africa in the rainforests and eat plants, fruit, and insects. Gorillas face off against other members of their own species and occasionally leopards.
