It comes complete with two side rails, model specific clamps, tensioners, front element seal, tailgate seal, a cover assembly and these are the tools that are needed. We need a spring clamp, nine-sixteenths wrench, half-inch wrench, scissors, tape measure and safety glasses. • I've got my driver side rail. I'm going to place it along the side of the box, moving it all the way forward. And I'm going to hold it in place with a spring clamp. And then we move forward with our first clamp. Clamp placement can be model specific, so follow your instructions. • For this truck we're going to place the clamp all the way forward, another one in the middle and one at the rear. I'm going to use a half inch wrench to tighten these. And then we repeat the same process on the other side. • We've got our side rails installed. Now we're going to install our element seal. It comes with an alcohol pad for cleaning the top of the box and that's what we're going to do first. We start by removing the backing from the element seal. Crowd it into the corner. Take it all the way across. Don't stretch it, because it'll shrink in the end. • Let's assemble our cover tensioners to the cover. Just start it for now. Now we're ready to put it on the front of the truck. We've place our preassembled cover on the front of the boxes as if it were going to roll out. Take the front bar, lay it across the front, holding your flap underneath. Slide your tensioners underneath the rail and assemble with • your bolt, washer and nut. Now let's do the same thing on the other side. For a nice looking install, it's important to center your front bar, side to side, before you tighten the clamps. • Our cover's installed. Now's a good time to adjust your storage straps. Snap it into here. Pull back on your strap. And that's that. Do that on both sides. Let's take a look at our cover fit. To open the cover, the latching mechanism is a simple one finger, rotate the bar up, start rolling your cover. The tension on this cover is good. • Let's take a look at what we would do to adjust it if we needed to. To tighten it all we would need to do is turn the XT dial towards us. To loosen turn away. Properly tensioned cover will have a good drum sound. The Access Limited Tonneau Cover comes complete with tie down rings and trail seal. • We've cleaned the truck with soap and water. Now I'm going to prep it with alcohol wipes. Let's cut a one-inch piece, just to test our fit. Now that we know how we want it oriented, let's start at one end and work our way across. Peel the back end off. Trim for length. And then test to make sure you've got a good seal. • Now I'm ready to put my sides on. Crowd it into the other piece and work your way up. Test your fit and make any adjustments that you need to. Trim off the remainder. Do the same on the other side. • The Access Limited Tonneau Cover installs easily and gives you full access to your bed.
