Claude Berri’s 1986 french film “Manon des Sources” is a sequel to his period drama which came out the same year, Jean de Florette. The films, shot back to back with another over a period of seven months, follow Jean and his daughter Manon, “Manon des Sources” taking place after two local farmers attempted to take Jean’s rabbit farm.
