For an introductory college-level physical geology class: a review of of glaciers, including comparisons of valley (alpine) glaciers and continental ice sheets; the overall budget (ablation vs accumulation); the ways in which glaciers move; and the landforms they produce through weathering (glacial striations), erosion (U-shaped valleys, horns, aretes, and more), and deposition (moraines, outwash plains, and glacial erratics).
