This video shows bilateral laryngeal paralysis. The dog’s soft tongue is in the foreground and the arytenoid cartilages are the somewhat vertical structures in the back of the throat that look like curtains hanging in a dark window. Sometimes we see partial paralysis, where movement is present, just not to the degree we expect, but in this video, the cartilages look like statues.
