Deep within The Fergana Valley, an area of Central Asia that has been ripe with conflict for years, exists a town that few people ever visit, yet marvel at its most famous export in nearly every market in Uzbekistan. Chust is a town roughly an hour away from Namangan, one of Uzbekistan's largest cities. • Chust is most known for its gorgeous knives and legendary knife makers. In this video, I give you a firsthand look into an area known for centuries for its blacksmiths, the best knives in all of Central Asia, and enlighten you as to how to get the get knives and prices for them. • Unfortunately, many countries such as Russia ban travelers from bringing foreign knives into their borders. If you are lucky enough to live in a country without such restrictions, a Chust knife is the perfect souvenir for yourself and others. • Uzbekistan (Oʻzbekiston) is a lovely ex-USSR country located in Central Asia.
