Chicken Seitan What am I going to make with it

Hey guys, I'm excited for this video and what I'll be making with it, hehe! Which you'll have to wait for next weeks video to see what it is. If your new, I hope you like my content and join the Happy Healthy Vegan Family:) • Dry: • -2 cups vital wheat gluten • -1 tbs poultry seasoning • -1 tsp garlic powder • -1 tsp onion powder • -1/2 tsp salt • Wet: • -1 cup silken tofu • -1/2 cup water • -1 tbs worcestershire sauce • -1 tbs vegan chicken better than bouillon • Ok, grab a big mixing bowl and get all your dry ingredients into it. Now with a smaller bowl add the wet ingredients together and mix. I ended up using my hand to squish the tofu into itty bitty pieces. Add the wet to the dry and mix it all together into a dough ball, get your hands in there! • Get a cutting board and sprinkle some vital wheat gluten, so the dough doesn’t stick to it and knead it for only a few minutes , if you over knead it the dough will get tough and we don't want that. Grab out your rolling pin and roll out the dough to a 1/2 inch thick or so, you will need to be persistent when rolling out seitan it tends to bounce back. • Now that it's rolled out as you like, cut it into cutlet type pieces, or any size depends what you would like to make with it. I managed to get 8 good size pieces. • Ok, now you will need to have your steamer ready, spray some non-stick cooking oil onto the tray and lay out your cutlets. I have a double steamer so my cutlets won't overlap, but if your cutlets need to overlap just spray them with the cooking oil so they wont stick together or steam them in 2 batches. They steam for 30 minutes. Once they are done steaming put them into the fridge for an hour it helps get the seitan to be more of a chicken like texture. • After the hour is up do what you want with them, BBQ and add your favourite sauce?....maybe.
