#spain #murcia #cathedral • Jen and I travelled to the city of Murcia today to check out a statue that we saw last time we passed by. The Cristo de Monteagudo, and the Castillo de Montegudo. There is a statue of Christ on top of an old crumbling castle on the top of a hill in a village on the outskirts of Murcia. We wanted to check it out as it looked great from the freeway as we drove past. After visiting here, we moved on to the old town centre of Murcia where we went to the Murcia Cathedral. Our first Cathedral in Spain, and it is just beautiful. It is very ornate and quiet.
