Tanner • Spectre Full Review Transcript: • This new Bond film had a lot to live up to after the spectacular success of Skyfall and on the whole it pushes all the buttons you want it to push while not quite hitting the heights of that previous film every Bond film is based on a template really and it's about hitting those targets the first one is a pre-credit sequence and this one's an absolute belter a hundred thousand people on the streets of Mexico City for Day of the Dead James Bond chasing a suspect through the crowds and ends up with a spectacular fight in a somersaulting helicopter it's just an absolute thrill right from the start after that it is successions of a bit of plot and then a car chase a bit of plot and then a snow chase bit of plot then a fight on a train that's particularly brutal and Dave Bautista effectively playing like a kind of Jaws character he's really good and that bit's really superb Daniel Craig - look, he's really underrated they try and give him a bit more humour in this which isn't always his forte but he is so flinty and aggressive and physical he's superb in this a lot of the smaller parts are really really well played by top actors like Ralph Fiennes and Monica Bellucci Christoph Waltz is the big baddie I couldn't quite make up my mind but I don't think it's the last we've seen of him and I think he might just let rip in a future film. • Source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2379713/?...
