This video shows an example of an EtherCAT Arduino Shield by Esmacat (EASE) interfacing with an existing EtherCAT-based robotic system, Harmony SHR by Harmonic Bionics. EASE is used as a user interface to select the different therapy modes Harmony SHR has to offer. The user interface also displays the current running mode determined by feedback from Harmony SHR through EtherCAT. • The Harmony SHR developed this user interface to efficiently select modes quickly for demos, debugging, and development as they are working hard to bring out Harmony SHR into the world. The user interface was developed within a day and was easily inserted into the system's EtherCAT daisy chain to receive PoE power and transmit signals.
