Episode 5: This is OLD Japan! I had no idea that historical districts like Kurashiki and Uchiko existed and I was able to stay in Ryokans in both! The history of Japan is so alive in modern culture and it is what makes this country so captivating for travelers, like me. I fell in love with the ancient customs, the old towns, the breathtaking shrines like Itsukushima and of course, the ONSEN. Japanese onsen have been around for centuries and we visited the OLDEST and most famous in the whole country: Arima Onsen and Dogo Onsen.
