Dromida Vista FPV Indoor Maiden Flight

This is a short Indoor Maiden Flight of my new Dromida Vista FPV Quadcopter. • While on my Family Christmas Holiday Vacation in California, I picked up one of these All-In-One FPV / Camera Quadcopter Units at the local hobby store for $150. I didn't realize how much fun these Dromida Vistas were until I actually tried it out. • A good review of the Dromida Vista UAV Basic Unit: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt... • A good review of the Dromida Vista FPV with DroneView WiFi 720p HD Camera Unit: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt... • As I'm not much of a Multirotor / Quadcopter Pilot and mainly stick to flying Fixed-Wing Aircraft, I was very pleased with the ease of setup and agile flying characteristics of this Dromida Vista FPV UAV. Downloading the free DroneView App in the iPhone Apps Store, I was able to attach my iPhone 6 to the Tactic MR100 Transmitter with the included Monitor Clip and view my photo or video capture during flight, for increased accuracy of footage. I was however a bit bummed about the Dromida clause that the FPV function was not recommended or intended to fly the Vista, but rather to be used to view what the footage was capturing, thus taking the guesswork out of what was being photographed or filmed. Another drawback is the lack of a microphone on the DroneView Camera, leaving your captured video footage with no sound. • Aside from these two minor drawbacks, the Dromida Vista is otherwise a solid-flying, nimble, and rugged Quadcopter packed with many features. For myself who tends to only fly planes, I had no problems flying this Quadcopter and also had fun flying it indoors during today's wet and windy weather. Overall, this is a great Quadcopter to get your feet wet with.
