I skated the New New Balance Tiago Lemos 808 shoes, not to be confused with the Tiago NB 1010 shoes.... And I don't think you can confuse the two. The New Balance 1010 sneakers were the first shoe Tiago Lemos had and he followed them up with the NB 808 Shoes. These shoes are absolutely beast and a shot of the 90's right to the Arse, But with modern day technology packed in to make for a awesome ride...IF you like bulky and cupsole shoes which I actually do not. For the price of these I could get a few pairs of shoes unironically but again, for those of you in which this is your cup of tea, you may be just in luck. • These shoes pack the right amount of padding around the collar of the shoe and the tongue to give you a comfort ride and increase the length of sessions you can get in. There is a solid amount of stability and ankle support to them and the impact is actually pretty decent. *HOWEVER I did not skate too much stairs or anything above like a 6 stair so you may want to get some additional insole inserts to be on the safe side if you fancy jumping. Absorb tech is in the shoes apparently and they made it hard to find anything that actually expounds upon what the F that is so Ima call it some BS in terms of being anything significant, yeeesh. Vague posting asssssesssss. That little card insert about it didnt really say much in detail but if it is the reason the impact is decent, then I guess it passes. • I also did 100 kickflips in these, you can see that video if youre weird and into that kind of thing and they held on quite well and impressed me. I wish I could withstand skating these types of shoes longer to really get a diversified session of tricks in them but I did get a good amount of tricks in. It was just mostly 360 flips, kickflips, very few hardflips, Nollie Flips, Nollie Heels, Frontside Flips, Switch Flips, and Switch Heels. I was straight stuck in a cycle of tricks basically but did finally get use to the shoes and break them in a lot more. They are predominantly stiff until broken in but still maintained a relative level of stiffness for me. Again perhaps if I had did more flip tricks of different nature then I'd of broken them in better or not, they may just remain stiff regardless which is a major plus for many because it held its shape and structure even after lots of wear damage. The flick on the toe cap was wonky at first for me but then I got use to it a lot more. I had to struggle to flick my tricks and they felt really slow at first until I got use to not just the flick of the shoe but also the shoe in general being a dammmm BOAT and what not. That was really the main culprit for me that dampened my sessions at first. I knew I had to suck it up and break them in and when I did I really started to like the shoes a lot more. • I must say this has been a much better experience I've had with a pair of new balance shoes prior to the Foy 306 slip ons that too were incredible. However the first pair of NB I had, I could not break the puppies in. I'm actually anticipating skating more of their shoes for I feel like they have really stepped their game up to a incredible rate over the years and I got my eye personally on a number of models they have. • BACKGROUD MUSIC: (Prod Sedivi) • / @sedivi1224 • Sedivi Instant Store: https://sedivi.beatstars.com/
