Sciez is a French commune in the Chablais Savoyard region in the Haute-Savoie department. The town is located on the south shore of Lake Geneva and more precisely on the Gulf of Coudrée. It is part of the Franco-Swiss urban agglomeration of Greater Geneva. The town is located on the edge of the Alpine massif and Lake Geneva. It is one of the 294 municipalities of the Haute-Savoie department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Sciez is located in the Chablais, between Évian and Geneva, and near Douvaine, the medieval village of Yvoire and Thonon-les-Bains.
